A journey of reflection on the foundations of Europe
We are delighted to share further details with you today about our gathering in Karpacz, Poland, from 11–15 September 2026.
The unthinkable: seeing, hearing – speaking, acting – can change everything.
History provides many examples of this, but we believe that few can imagine what it meant back then to challenge the society or dictatorship of their time with unconventional ideas and proposals. And yet. For they questioned social structures and economic advantages, and challenged beliefs and notions of how society ought to be.
This meeting aims to create space to
- understand complex situations and environments, enabling responsible action
- highlight paths to inner clarity that can make UNTHINKABLE action possible
- strengthen the deepest life-affirming orientation within us
- building trusting relationships through personal encounters and discussions in both small and large groups
It is always about making conscious decisions based on courage and integrity, which come at a cost, so that evil cannot have the last word. This means bringing light into dark intentions to promote a free life.
The programme includes
- games, workshop, exhibitions, family groups and
- an excursion to Krzyżowa / Kreisau to explore its historic past, which inspires us to stand up for what is right. During the Second World War, the Kreisau Circle was one of the many resistance groups active during the Nazi era, including James von Moltke, whose estate we will visit on a guided tour. Just like many other incredible events. Name them all! They managed to achieve the UNTHINKABLE; moving mountains of preconceived notions, false beliefs, and economic and political bottlenecks.
- People from all over Europe and other countries will meet in Karpacz to seek answers to these and other questions.
Practical information:
When: 11 to 15 September 2026
Where: Ośrodek Wypoczynkowy “Przy Lesie”, Spokojna 1, 58-540 Karpacz, Poland
Cost: Total cost per person from Friday evening to Tuesday after lunch: 1100 PLN (including meals and drinks during morning and afternoon breaks and the excursion).
Payment can be made in cash in Karpacz or by bank transfer to Ulrike Keller / Volksbank Darmstadt BIC: GENOEF1VBO IBAN: DE68 5089 0000 0053 3578 06. (In the event of cancellation less than 3 weeks before the start of the trip, we must charge a fee of at least 50%; for cancellations made later, the fee is 100%).
