During the visit, the team introduced the visiting council members to Jagat Arsy Islamic Boarding School, one of IofC Indonesia’s partnerships. Budi Rahman Hakim, the owner and director of Jagat School, welcomed the vistors with an open heart and open doors.  He said, ‘this is your home, you are always welcome in this school, and this is IofC's home.’ Bill and Cecilia were then invited to share with the students how education played a role in their lives.  

Finally, Akhmad Hairul Umam, an IofC Indonesia friend and lecturer at Tanri Abeng University (TAU) welcomed Bill and Thembi to his university. There a session on Leadership Development with TAU students was conducted as a part of the visit. One student shared, ‘As part of the current young generation, I should understand my power and role in the world, also learn to behave socially and be open to different people and experience.’
